Blog Entry: So, I went to this little car show today, the 1st annual Millerstown Riverfest and Car Show. Nothing huge, just a little county car show. Descent turn out though. A vast array of cars did show up for this event even though it was not widely publicized. There were the muscle cars, hot rods, race cars and pickups one would normally expect to see at such a show like this as well as a few oddities. While I do not believe that adding a GT racing spoiler and seat covers to an 89 Ford Probe means you should be entering judged competitions, I do applaud the owner for taking the time to show pride in their vehicle and get involved in an automotive activity. Especially since the owner was a teenager doing what they could to support local car shows. As car show season sets upon us once again, let us be mindful of those just starting out in this great hobby of ours. Chances are they envy the hell out of your cherry ride, even though they're struggling with a beater. Encourage the new guys. It's their spirit and countenance that keeps our fair passtime growing.
