HOBBIES

ABOUT ME
My name is Andrew and I recently moved from Charleston, SC to Dallas. I'm 18 and I've already owned 3 Mustang GT's. The first one was a 98 that my bro wrecked last year, but he payed for it so I purchased a 2002 with the money. A van slammed me onto a bridge wall in that car a couple months ago, but insurance covered them. Fortunately those were mostly stock. The Mustang I have now is a 2003 GT. I've put a vortech supercharger in it, lowered the suspension, put on 20' wheels and these fantastic sticky tires that a friend turned me on to. Next I put on a full SLP exhaust that makes it rip and a accu throttle body and performance pulleys. There are some other minor things i've done to the interior like guages and a more accurate tac, but right now i'm concentrating on audio.

my stang's been having a lot of problems lately.  almost everything in the whole car is aftermarket at this point, but the ford parts still find a way to break.  i just replaced battery cables and pullies and now the alternator's going bad.  after all the mods i'll have to get it re-tuned so that it runs right.  american cars are like bottomless cash pits, but i can't say i don't enjoy it when everything meshes.

I have.. I've thought about M3s and stuff, and they're awesome cars, but it just doesn't do it for me. I get a really big kick out of V8s. As far as your Mustang goes, I'm sorry to hear there's a lot going wrong, but I gotta say, I have never once had to take mine in, and I have 40,000 miles on it. That's why I also am a little worried if I kept this one and tried to supercharge it, things could go sour, whereas the cobra things could only get better. Well, we'll see =)

And yes, death race looks awesome! haha, I'm definitely gonna see it soon.

hey buddy. I put in a Steeda short throw shifter a few months ago, but that's it. This will be the last summer for my GT. I'm either upgrading to a 3 valve newer GT, an 03-04 Mach 1, or an 03-04 SVT Cobra... so we'll see where that brings me. No matter what I get though, I really have a target number of 450-550rwhp when it's all said and done. I'll definitely keep you updated on everything though! How's your stang?

No the hood scoop isn't funtional, but I plan on makeing it. What im going to do, is do some cutting so it just cools the engine compartment, because it gets really hot and it will stay that way.

Nice! I didn't think of vortech yet... I'm definitely gonna check that out. My 02 is stock right now, I just got it, but I'm definitely planning on a supercharger. Right now I have money to lower it and put a cold air intake on, but that's about it. If I can install it myself, I can get the money for the supercharger, but I don't think I'm skilled enough to do it. Did you install yours yourself or did you have someone do it for you?
